How do I get to the store?
We are on Union Street in the 12309 ZIP, on the upper stretch east of Union College toward Niskayuna. From Downtown or the Stockade, head east on Union Street past the college and keep going; the store faces the street, so there are no turns once you are on Union.
Coming from Albany or Colonie, take Route 7 toward Schenectady and head south to Union Street, or follow Route 5 into the city and cross over. How long does a visit take?
A first visit with questions usually takes 15 to 20 minutes. Regulars who know what they want are in and out in five. Pickup orders are faster still, since the bag is packed before you arrive and all we need is your ID.
Who shops after 9pm?
More people than you would expect. Staying open until 11pm Monday through Saturday means second-shift workers, restaurant staff and anyone heading home from a show at Proctors can still stop in. Sunday is our short day, 11am to 5pm.
What should I bring?
Bring a valid government-issued photo ID that shows you are 21 or older: a driver’s license, non-driver ID, passport or military ID. Expired IDs cannot be accepted, and neither can photos of an ID on your phone. Out-of-state IDs are fine as long as they are current.
What is it like inside?
Bright, welcoming, and organized so you can see product before you commit. Wood and glass cases line the walls, menu screens list what is in stock, and staff answer questions and ring you up at the marble counter.
Can someone come in with me?
Anyone entering the sales floor must be 21 or older with ID. If you are bringing a friend who is under 21, they will need to wait outside or in the car.

Do I need an appointment to shop at the Union Street store?
No. Walk in any time during open hours. If you already know what you want, placing an order online first is faster, because the team packs it before you arrive and you only need to show ID at the counter. Walk-ins are always welcome to browse the cases and ask questions.
Can I order online and pick up in store?
Yes. Build your order on the live menu, choose pickup at checkout, and wait for the ready notice before you head over. Bring the same ID that matches the name on the order. Pickup runs during all store hours, including until 11pm Monday through Saturday.
Is the store open on holidays?
Holiday hours can differ from the regular schedule. Before a holiday trip, check our Google Business Profile listing or call the store at (518) 280-4289 the day before to confirm when we open and close.
Can I call the store to check if something is in stock?
Yes, call (518) 280-4289 during open hours. The live online menu is the quickest way to see stock and prices, since it updates as items sell. If you are driving in for one specific product, placing a pickup order holds it for you.
